Thanks a lot Nnamdi for the tips. I can relate with that walking part; no matter how disconnected from work I feel, the moment I go for a walk I'm automatically recharged.
Thank you for sharing, and I'm glad the read came early!
I agree with taking walks and also changing work locations, esp when I'm having a brain block. I take a walk to clear my head most of the time, and it helps. When I work from a particular place for a long time, say for days, I start to get bored, and my productivity slows, so I change my work station and my productivity increases.
3 isn't really practical for the girlies, the hair, the makeup. How we wan do am? Coffee can be substituted with tea. Green and black tea are known for their caffeine and L-theanine content, which helps with alertness and mental clarity without the usual coffee jitters. Best options are lavender and peppermint teas which can help reduce stress, promote relaxation and create a more mindful state. You see the walking one, everyone should 100% get on that.
Love the tips but the frequent espresso drinking and energy downtimes you’re experiencing are linked. You’re experiencing a glucose spike and that’s why you need espressos in between to have a seeming “level of energy”
You might want to not start your day with that kind of sugar or if you want to, then you preface it with a protein that can help your body process the sugar slower, leading to less glucose spikes and a sustainable amount of energy during the day.
I’d recommend this book (it’s by a scientist and I found it very helpful, she’s also on YouTube incase you don’t have time to read it) the title is glucose goddess by Jessie Inchauspe.
I 100% agree with your position on the espresso-energy crash link... and thank you for your book recommendation. I always have time to read! I'd get the book.
I find number one interesting, taking walks, but executing it for me is what I don’t know how to. I work remotely, ànd it’s the type that you have endless tasks on your to-do ànd à demanding àfter work life.
I go to the gym, but I would really like to incorporate walking, for the sake of thinking and stirring creativity, how do you suggest I approach this?
I can def relate to the endless to-do lists and unending calls.
A few ideas: you know those calls that are mainly FYI? I take some of those walking. I hardly eat lunch, so I walk during my "lunch break". I also have personal time blocked on my calendar.
You can start with walking for 30 mins, once a week...
As always, thank you for reading and interacting. ❤️

I truly appreciate your kind words. People like you make it worth it
Thanks for sharing boss. I already take walks. I think I’ll take it more seriously now 😄
How have you been, bro?
I can attest to the impact of working from different locations it works like magic. Practical tips you have here!
Thank you!

Mixing things up always helps. I also take different routes from time to time

Hahahaaa, how I forgot the fact that it might not be practical for some people to wash their heads and faces regularly! 😂 My bad!
You see that substituting coffee with tea? That's a hard task 😩
